Growing up I was viewed him as a caricature. It wasn’t until I started watching classics on @tcmtv.bsky.social that I understood his importance in cinema history and how talented he was.

You have to put him as one of the all time greats. He played comedy as a cola executive in West Germany. He portrayed William Halsey, the famous WW2 admiral. Him and Bogey together in The Roaring Twentys.
