Thinking about all the patients w/ acute #COVID19 illness who were hypoxemic but not breathless & whose O2 improved w/ proning. All of this was a clue that such shunt physiology may be important in this illness (& sequelae). /2
Those in the most severe group definitely.
Not everyone under the vague ME/CFS label has orthostatic intolerance.
We really need medical professionals to better understand the different groups.
