Ahh yeah i heard hes kinda sketch, good to know. Better product than base chrome still though but ya that sucks.

So, we're kinda in the worst possible moment ever for good browsers, every single one either sells your data or simply is not usable (i.e. has no adblock). Just this week, firefox removed the "we don't sell your data" part from its privacy policy. We are abandoned

BTW, I pointed out the thing about brave's CEO not as a way to "forbid" using brave, just that people be aware that, against its wishes, it is not a cool company that has its users in high regards. Use brave if you want, if we stopped using everything made by shitty people we'd become hermits

Yeah i saw that, that being said it seems like their situation is a bit more nuanced in how they collect and sell data in contrast to standard methods like at Google. Still sucks to see them lean into it too. Feels like data privacy is a completely lost cause at this point and few are knowledgeable
