Seems obvious to me that the way to mitigate a global viral outbreak is to have isolation facilities at all our international airports. Covid was spread quickly by everyone rushing to fly home out of the affected area and not being tested before returning to their communities.

Immediate GDP is far more important to the markets than the lives of those who create GDP in 2 months.
'They' will never close the airports, and even by then, it will have already spread, whatever it is.
