I wrote I was "raised" Christian but doesn't mean I AM a Christian at this moment in my life. I should have added a conditional preposition to make sure it doesn't get misinterpreted. Apologies. The point is that of course we get influenced by precepts, dogmas when we are young. It's inevitable.
