A series of drone sightings over military bases across the country has renewed concerns that the US doesn’t have clear government-wide policy for how to deal with unauthorized incursions that could potentially pose a national security threat.

This is crazy. What's wrong with the US ?
If a clown (non standard human clothing) pass and enter a military base, will you let him ? Will you say: jeez, what is this guy 🤔 what can we do ?
I don't think so.
Obviously laws need to change in order to tighten national security. No fly zones- shoot down if violated, tighten up federally registered drones regulations, public should be able to file restraining orders or suck to restrict flight over their house

Can't you see....there's a problem with containment, maybe the newest generation of these drones have some sort of anti_jam mechanisms that evade the traditional defense systems😅.... this is a bad picture...but one which will become ever more frequent🚮
National security starts with the skies! No-fly zones and stricter drone laws make sense, and empowering the public—these steps could be key to enhancing national security and privacy. 🛫🔒 #DroneSafety #ProtectOurSkies"
My friend is the FIRST person in Canada to have a legal battle in BC Supreme Court on droning. Reynolds vs Deep Water Recovery.

They have net guns and missiles and armies of their own drones not to mention jamming and emp other electronic devices warfare devices. They can respond just fine to actual threats that arnt commercially available drones which I thank them for not blasting out of the sky randomly over the US
#USGovt laws have always been YEARS behind tech advances, sometimes DECADES
When the #PS2 was launched, #Congress had to change the law because the 32 bit tech meant it was considered a supercomputer and was a protected tech in the #USA and couldn't be sold at retail
its large military reconnaissance drones. over here in EU same sightings over US bases and critical infrastructure like pipelines, and weapons plants that produce arms for ukraine..
the BBC and many others point to a "state actor" , thats publicly accepted. would be political suicide in the US lol
Gee I wonder what these congressional hearings they’ve been having over the last few years were all about! 🤔 Also it’s been happening for decades. #Malmstrom #Bentwaters
I am not American, I am Dutch. But that sounds pretty stupid to me, I can hardly believe that they do not know and at the saame time do everything to find out.
“But ECM can mess with GPS too?” Interesting question indeed. I guess it depends on the frequencies of the GPS and signals between the remote and drone!
Why? Because there’s a bunch of confused people who play dumb drone games on sensitive areas to provoke the military. This will stop only when one of them learns a lesson.

Actually, we do. Over a base, power plant, nuclear facility, even water plants.
"Official say there have been no consequences to the drone sightings...(one paragraph later) yet CNN reports..."
I think I see where the hysteria is originating from.

Maybe I’m missing something, though? That’s entirely possible.

Good study for marine biologist: collect samples now.
