The general assumption appears to be that the teenager is the only one showing those "worrying' mutation of the H5. This has not happened in a vacuum. Surely, no one can take chances here.

I fear the combination of the virus taking off & humanity not doing what any scenario points to: as a minimum, manufacturing capacity for respiratory protection for vital system workers all over the world, just in case it's severe by itself or with covid. Then, anything else people may want to add.
