At the same time roughly I got into Vladislavik. They were a Russian phenomenon that I stumbled across and that I obsessed over with the help of Google translate and not much else.
Those two are characters from V Kontakte sticker sets (comparable to Facebook stickers) that people started shipping XD
Vlad is a goth/emo and Slavik is a gopnik and that combination of stereotypes fried my brain.
Marry Me Bellamy even made a song about them and the fanfic I wrote (and never finished) might be the blueprint for the young adult novel I might write one day ^^
