I assume they're referring to "Fortress: Ameritrash" which rebranded to There Will Be Games in 2018 and seems to defunct at this point. It was a long time ago and I mostly remember some people just kind of being dicks for dickness sake. So, they made their own website and BGG was better for it.

absolutely. same goes for entities in the industry in general. at least be honest about who you are and what you think so people can make informed choices. go woke go broke? great - then don't hide your disdain for... women, lgbtqia folks, POC, etc. Don't use tokens to mask your bigotry.
