BC never had a ban. Only in government liquor stores (and there are tons of private ones). I work in a non government liquor store and we never stopped ordering US booze or removed it from the shelves.
It's probably part of the "tariff deal" but doesn't mean we have to buy it.
BC wines will soon be available in the east of Canada, and we'll continue favouring EU too.
May I recommend “See Ya Later” winery and wines from BC. My daughter had her outdoor wedding at this winery and the story behind their origin in beautiful, especially if you are a dog lover. Their wines are excellent!
Well American liquor distributors will be very happy. Whether any Canadians buy the product is not the point. Thousands of products will be ordered and that is a win for the US. Also shows a huge crack in our unity.

My guess now is there will be A LOT of secret purchasing of American liquor by the governments of Alberta and Saskatchewan. Perhaps Ontario too if they lift the ban.
I agree. Don’t buy it. One thing I’ve noticed is the vegetables from Guatemala and Honduras are superior to what was previously available from USA. Broccoli and sugar snap peas are GREAT! I hope they keep supplying them after this is all over.
Don't buy it. Let it sit there and collect dust. Just like their vegetables and fruit are rotting in grocery stores! Buy something else or forgo. Discover some new Canadian brands and companies! Stick with it Canada 🇨🇦

I like how the CBC article about this interviewed a couple of liquor store owners who said, "So what? If people aren't buying American booze, we're not stocking it".
