Scheduled my COVID shot for tomorrow morning, and checking with my doctor for whatever else.

If you're over 45, demand a shingles shot. It's 2 doses so schedule them now.

I got mine before age 50, as did some friends. Doctors here were noticing patients younger than 50 contracting shingles.

People do get shingles younger but the vaccine is only recommended for 50+ (or immunocompromised) so your insurance probably won’t cover it because they follow federal guidelines. You could probably find a pharmacist to give it to you and pay out of pocket tho
