I'm not saying they satisfied their duty...I'm saying they have the duty. If you can point to case law or other authorities that they don't have said duty, I would appreciate it.

Regarding international regulations, apart from the fact that all limits have been breached using Gaza as a "warning for sailors," we have, e.g., the fact that the US signed the Convention on the Rights of the Child but did not ratify it.

Most cases occur outside of the public eye. Normally if journalist gets an individual story out these ICE corps tend to automatically release the individual to clean their hands and claim the story is a one off.
But most r trapped in the system w/o a good contact that can get their story out.

Well, generally speaking a lack of representation and protections for poor $ individuals who are also not citizens, vs over representation and protections written in the government contract clauses that protect these corporations and their partner government entities against any liabilities
