So last night during 2001, the screens kept showing out of focus views of the lights. Did the Live Phish stream do that too? I wonder if they were trying to emulate the old Grateful Dead video effects. - ThreadSky

Don’t know how to describe it not in the main picture but when they show the wide of the stage and you can see the screens left and right you can see it , does that make sense sorry I’m German

Trey Kerr, the director of the stream, is kinda known for this shot. It starts out of focus and zoomed in on a fixture and pushes out to an in focus shot of a band member. I love it, artsy and a bit different. I wasn't watching the stream but I believe the IMAG cut is usually the same as the stream

It’s true. He did it a bit last night during the stream but it looks like not as much as the local feed.

Could he have been simultaneously directing both feeds?

The best way to tell if they are the same feed is usually the IMAG feed doesn't have as many of the wide shots of the light rig because its literally in front of you as a viewer but I'd bet money they are the same feed. Someone could hypothetically call both at once but there would little benefit.
