It's absolutely, and objectively reinforcing patriarchy and the policing of bodies for cis people. It elevates the suspicion of being the "wrong gender" via visable characteristics to something that organisations can and should be doing.

To even be interrogated on that suspicion ("you're not meant to be here are you?") is humiliating, and as has been shown cis women have been hit with this a lot already since the culture war ramped up. As there's no way to put that mob suspicion back in the bottle, women's rights will be effected.
