We'd all love to think the green light has been given, and they'll be off like hot rod, but I reckon @albomp.bsky.social will still just slip the clutch and drive with his foot on the brake.

Don’t worry, they will now have either the Liberals or the Nationals to pass legislation, so you will get all the legislation in the world which is acceptable for whichever right party wants to pass it. They will never negotiate with the Greens to pass more left wing/progressive legislation.
On 31 May [10 days] Environment Minister Murray Watt will announce whether Labor approves Woodside’s huge North West Shelf Gas extension "with emissions equivalent to opening another 12 new coal power stations”
More comfort = less action. Everything is confirming that moribund is the way to go. You can keep wishing for the Empire to become more progressive or you can fully commit to the resistance 🤷
Nah. He'll still fuck it up. Factions, and an apparent lack of courage to take a principled stand on things will be his undoing. He is the ultimate political beast, and that will cause his downfall.

Change the narrative on a lot of things. Israel is murdering people on mass in Gaza, climate change is real, AUKUS is an insanely expensive dud that ties Australians to an increasingly racist and fascist regime in US america
Au contraire! I think you'll find the absolute lack of opposition will be their very much favoured excuse and they will baste themselves in it until we're all well done.
It absolutely is now or never. They will not get another chance like this for decades. The next ALP prime minister to have the power Albo currently holds has not been born yet.

It'll be CPRS-quality bills from now on.
They can really set up the future for Australia.
No excuses
