This is a way more important story than the latest health update of a former president. The times is not your friend, and the majority of what it chooses to promote is proof it is not a serious news organization.

What possible impact on your life or the country does Joe Biden have now? It is at best a minor human interest story. Had he lost the last election and was still politically active, that would be one thing. But the Times knows it will draw eyeballs so they push it, even though zero national import.
Just glad to read the word "agreement" these days, even if this in no way affects my daily life. Commuters, be grateful tomorrow and thank an engineer in your life!
What about a door for seniors and disabled that splits in half. From the waist high it retracts like a garage door and from the waist down it opens like a drawbridge and allows people who are unsteady to exit the train on top of the door. It could have a railing that pops up.
