He’s a Republican. They tend to vote as a block. And as a progressive I don’t want more Democrats who don’t support progressive values who become just another beltway corporatist. That’s a big part of why we have so many problems.
Have you listened to him in the past 10 years??? He’s clearly more dem than rep. While he may not be “progressive” he’s definitely not maga. If we’re being honest FL is not voting for a progressive. So a former R running as D may have a decent chance of winning in this political climate.
If i lived in Florid again, which we did recently, we would vote for him. I will make sure to help campaign for him with my friends in the DNC in The
