Random fun fact: I do know that break a leg is wishing luck but all I hear is break a leg and that honestly scares me a little bit 🙈 but I do appreciate the thought, everyone who shared support ✨

It comes from theatrical superstitions which state it’s bad luck to wish a cast or its members ‘good luck’ before a performance, so they wish the opposite instead, ‘break a leg’, which is generally known to be bad luck. The phrase over the years just stuck as wishing a performer good luck. 🍀 💕

I know the Czech, which is "break [your] neck," so, if anything, a bit stronger than the English expression. Zlom vaz!
