Yes because the courts made up some exception that doesn't exist in the Constitution. The fact that the people enforcing our laws are ignoring our protections doesn't mean we should pretend those protections shouldn't exist.
OMG you really do not understand. Immigration is civil law, nor criminal. Now, I agree with you that it should not be civil law considering the punishments that come w/these violations, but those agents are NOT legally required to have an arrest warrant signed by a judge.
The Supreme Court has decided 3x that bc an agent cannot tell someone’s citizenship by looking at them, IOW being present illegally cannot be determined w/out interview, immigration policing only needs “reasonable suspicion” of “illegal alienage.” Agents do not need warrants according to latest SC.
