where is @aarpfoundation.bsky.social aarp? they left the fight for ss and medicare at least 10 years ago. it used to be they would organize and fight but now have disappeared. on my mid 60’s i will never join, i encourage others to leave or demand action from them. @aarpny.bsky.social
thats good to hear. when i was a young man ssi and medicare were considered the third rail, organized seniors often led by aarp would galvanize to fight any threat. i dont see any publication, any social media, any commercials urging people to contact their congress members. no lobby any more?
