Americans live worse than the citizens of other rich, developed nations — in terms of transportation, healthcare rights costs and outcomes, access to education and higher education, quality of life, social support, and social mobility

As with Covid, education, healthcare — weather monitoring and disaster relief, tracking disease outbreaks and consumer dangers are now in the “meh, just do it yourself” category of American governance that Americans are accepting too willingly based on delusions that we are still frontierspeople
