There is such a “pull up the ladder behind you” mentality among majority of Republican voters, especially Latino/Latina ones.
They buy into the idea that success for others means it has to come at the expense of SOMETHING for you which is bullshit thinking and, frankly, unchristian.
How on earth can anyone who voted for republican party put out that crap? This is not what we voted for? Surely, they knew what he stood for in the first term.
Where are the GOP's in their condemnation of Trump insurrection of the constitution? Aren't the GOP the party of the constitution?
or, idk, the rancid gutter racism coming out of Trump's rally with the "comedian" who called Puerto Rico "garbage" because it's not as though they were exactly being nuanced with the targeting there?

I will say this even after this is Fuvking over, THIS IS WHAT THEY VOTED FOR. I don’t want to hear this is not what they voted for, they knew damn well who and what he was. Do not absolve any of this folks. Not anymore.
It is a fairly explicit belief of Miller and the NatCon crowd that immigrants, even legit citizen immigrants, are less American than they are. I presume that's what she's referring to.
