I like having some progression in games like new gear, better spells, or cooler places to explore but when I have to do math to determine that my hat gives me a 0.333~% upgrade then I'm out.
Welcome to the pause menu. The pause menu can be used to pause the game. There are five levels of pause. Long pause short pause intermittent pause and pause buffering. Using a pause sub pause requires the use of pause coins which can be crafted from pause fragments. Pause fragments can be obtained..
You get 5 pauses per chapter. After using a single pause your character will require a rest. After a rest you must have them eat breakfast and engage in something to increase their resolve. If you don't you will receive a 5% stat debuff for the remainder of the chapter.
oh it seems to progress this part of the dungeon, you need a lute that you can only get during a specific event in the story, but it only becomes available after completing a very long quest line, you also have to dance around a statue, pause for three seconds, then read the back of the game box..
I dig a complex, esoteric game every now and then, but I never seem to finish them. I just appreciate what the devs were doing. TES II: Daggerfall and EYE Divine Cybermancy are a couple examples of such games I appreciate.
the concept is fun to think about but honestly after having played roguelite insims with fishing and crafting and rpg mechanics and open world etc bla bla i really think just make ONE great core game and have maybe ONE extra system with that

(you accidentally button mash no, causing the entire thing to repeat)
(the way Deltarune does it is so much better, where each choice is by default in an inbetween state that won't go through if you're mashing)
I want stuff to stop working and I can't figure out why because it's a fourth order consequence of neglecting a different aspect of the game
I want my dwarf to get mad and flood the fort with lava coz i forgot to forbid them from eating dirt
too much is just too much
