I just started filling out a Covid vaccination booking with the Sask Health Authority to see if the eligibility guidelines have been updated and/or poorly communicated, and of course they have. #Sask #SkPoli

Have you tried SDM? It was free as well. They just needed a couple of hours notice because the stuff was in the fridge and had to mix it, or whatever it is that they do with it
This government consistently downplays the seriousness of airborn illness.
They’d rather placate their base than protect the roughly MILLION other people living in Saskatchewan.
I f**king hate them.

We tried to get a booster a couple of weeks ago with no success. We weren't old enough or sick enough. We are 69 and 79 but otherwise healthy, so no booster for us. We try to have a booster every 6 months, but our government has made that impossible. I hope there is booster available in the fall!
It's been opened up to everyone over six months old who had their last vaccine in or before November 2024. It's open until June 15th when they'll limit it again.
We spent a good 30 -45 minutes discussing this in the pharmacy. She carefully went through our med history to see if we qualified and we didn't. Plus, most of the pharmacies I called in early May did not have the vaccine in stock.
We went through that process with the pharmacist. People 65 and over might be able to get the booster, but only if they have major health issues like diabetes, heart attack, or be immunicompromised. The pharmacist herself had to clarify this with Sask Health. The wording wasn't extremely clear.
Classic bureaucratic incompetence. If Elon ran public health, booking would take 5 seconds with zero confusion. This is why private systems crush public ones—clarity, efficiency, results.

Right-wing premiers, yeah?
"Starting March 31 until June 14, 2025, select Saskatchewan residents will have access to an additional dose of an age-appropriate COVID-19 vaccine. "
Doesn't that mean we go back to normal for the fall shot?
