There's also this method of dealing with tear gas. I personally never used it cause I don't like handling the canisters, they can be dangerously hot, need heat resistant gloves at a minimum, and pressure can build up within the jug.

This making the rounds again cause of LA? P-100 filters for gas masks. Full face masks for people with glasses.

I reply with this video on a few posts to help deal with tear gas (gloves, masks, traffic cone, water from top, and around cone base, soak it out). But we may be too disorganized yet.

They used rackets & leaf blowers to counter tear gas too during the HK protests (think Portland tried the leaf blowers during BLM).

Now that the govt's escalating (national guards & threatening Marines deployment (groundwork for Marshall law?)), hope protesters are restraint enough to stay the non-violence course.

Defensive is the only way yet. Local groups might need to start assigning roles (scouts, medics, barricades etc).

We have to adapt protective gears to our situations.

Hard to discuss these things through post replies with word limits.

BTW I found the seed pods for the Toughleaf Irises, gonna collect them and try to propagate them next year.
