I'll continue to echo this. Senior military commanders should not follow orders to invade or occupy Greenland. Such an order would be inherently unlawful.

The most important thing we can do right now is to socialize and normalize this idea. It shouldn't be controversial.

If the U.S. military is given direct orders to seize Greenland—pull down another nation’s flag, and then claim the ground in the name of the United States—every senior commander has a moral obligation to refuse to accept or support such a command.
