It’s fuel is liquid oxygen and liquid methane so a lot less then kerosene fueled rockets that China uses.

Methane is a greenhouse gas so there is that.

SpaceX is subsidized by Washington so musk didn’t take much of a financial hit with another $200,000,000 rocket exploding
