Obvs "fancy" or "expensive" is all relative but sometimes I go for fancier versions of things that I know she'd use but wouldn't buy for herself like idk leather gloves in a cool colour from M&S

Ugh my mom is also so difficult it's always "oh I don't need anything" 😒😒 she usually gets books, for Christmas a year or two ago I got her a locally made leather bag because they had accent fabric made with her favourite flowers, doubt I'll be topping that one ever 😩
