Bugs Bunny doesn't need to be in every LT project.
He wasn't in Duck Dodgers and that wound up being one of the best Looney Tunes spinoffs.
Let's also not forget Taz-Mania or Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries.

"Best"? I don't know about that. Many of the Duck Dodgers stories didn't require the space setting, could've just been regular shorts, plus I didn't like how they turned Daffy into an oblivious idiot a la Zapp Brannigan, but I'm burying the lead.

Guys, every LT project doesn't have to feature every character as a group. The shorts were never like that. If TDTEBU does well, we'll likely get other LT stuff that features the other characters. Stop bitching over every little thing and give this movie the support it deserves.
