Thank you so much Steph, very much looking forward to reading and sharing it!
Given our recent @acnporg.bsky.social #D&I workshop: Understanding #Neurodiversity, a strength-based approach
This work fits really well with the premise & I am trying to make sure there’s support from the community!
Such an impactful initiative! Neuroscience education can empower individuals with addiction by helping them understand the brain’s role in behavior and recovery.
Knowledge truly is power—this effort can make a meaningful difference in their journey to healing. Keep up the great work!
I’ve been doing this for over 2 years at Simon House recovery centre. This experience is changing the way I think about my research questions. Previously I really focused on how brain circuits change with experience (drugs, food). But ppl really want to know how the brain changes in recovery.
I highly recommend this for fundamental neuroscientists- share your knowledge with PWLE. It is mutually rewarding! Ppl want to know about how their brain works. I get such great questions and engagement in my classes.
I love this! I've done a few similar lectures in the past and would love to get back to it! I learned so much, and I think the people in the group found it empowering to have a better understanding of how their brain works.
