As a Xoomer (turning 62 this year) I realize I’m only missing one of my old 8-tracks to have a complete history of audio recording tech of the last century.
Vinyl. Along with Foreigner 4, ELO Out of the Blue, 3 Dog Night Black and White... We got rid of the 8-track pretty early. Last one I listened to with any regularity was Janis Joplin's "I Got Dem Old Kozmic Blues Again Mama." (which is a total banger of an album)
