@aclu.org these are scientists who have been placed in an impossible situation when they received highly competitive grants they earned through many years of hard work.

And some of them will have to end their education, training, and/or job search because they have no fall-back mechanism to cover their tuition, living stipend, and work expenses. We are losing the best and brightest.
