I don't know ir Miller has or not but the one thing I never hear never Trumper do is take ownership for laying the ground work for what the GOP became...he talks about Reagan and the Bushes on how nice they were while failing to mention their racism and homophobia, their courting of Christofacists

yeah i have come to have a more nuanced view of the underlying situation. Still think the Clinton Admin handled it horribly. And still think that at a fundamental level we should be a place that tries to accommodate people fleeing oppressive regimes - communist ones in our hemisphere in particular

I just paused the episode about 10 minutes in to say OH MY GOD SOMEONE MENTIONED ELIAN GONZALEZ!!!!!

I still check on what's going on with him, since I wondered if my country would come to regret using a child as a political football.

I mean, beyond basically losing the election for Gore...
