What's a good in-game "thing" that a traveling merchant can sell? I have flowers, crops, books, art, and music so far. Would like to avoid anything iron/armor related or bee related items. If someone is willing to change their skin and die a lot, you could sell their player head as mini block items (kind of like how some servers have the wandering trader sell them)

Hmm, I think in general if you're thinking about being a merchant, it will clarify as you travel, because people might want to sell something to you.

We also mentioned with CV and Dalton that we want to write lore books.

And maybe surprise bundles? People pick a number and you sell them haha

I do like the idea of the lore books! This would be for a stationary merchant, though. I plan on building a traveling caravan at the oasis, and they're stopping there to sell goods to the townsfolk.

About the books - there was also an idea of a library, but if a traveling merchant would sell books with actual lore of player bases that would be cool if someone would like to collect them on their own

Oh I really like the idea of (say a Traveling Merchant Cart or something) of a similar style being built all over the world with little books on lore and maybe locations of folks bases and such.
