The tactics ICE is using--thugs in plain clothes kidnapping people simply for their political views--these tactics were developed by the US and spread across the world to hunt down Leftists from Latin America to Indonesia. They've also been used locally for decades to terrorize Black communities.

Granted, true in spirit during the cold war, but not uniquely American.
Real agents have nothing to hide , so why hide their faces.. unless they do. They don't want to be identified by anyone!
My point was that these tactics are used beyond the US and not because they were taught them by the West.
They can do this by disappearing regular working people, like Trump. Or fascists and collaborators, like Stalin. Take your pick.
Law enforcement in this country is built on deceptive & unlawful tactics, that paved the way for ICE.
