Makes the league feel non-competitive. You have to look to other competitions for actual drama and stakes. And then suddenly City is there too to ruin things.

Don’t think this is what city fans really want. They need a rebuild due to age of squad (not all of it) but 1 year isn’t a big commitment. I expected him to leave or commit 3 years with option. Still leaves the situation a bit up in the air. Good for the league though as top class manager
