I consider this decision absolutely justified. Allegations were levelled against him and they thoroughly investigated them and found him to be in serious breach of his contract. If you can't fire someone in this situation there is something incredibly wrong with the world.

Yeah but it creates a problem where if he were to officiate again he’d be off Liverpool games and were he to give subjectively favorable decisions to other title contenders people would make the argument that he’s doing it to spite Liverpool. It’s a net negative to keep him on unfortunately

Yeah but David committed the worst cardinal sin by putting himself on video. This is was like when a club I forgot put out a statement about an official being a Leeds fan which seemed pretty serious but it wasn’t second guessed because they literally couldn’t prove it.

He has an employment contract, his employer aren't the probation service. People get sacked , this isn't new, he can be rehabilitated elsewhere , doesn't have to be paid to do it
