The Giants have mastered mistiming the quarterback market:
Draft Barkley in '18 over Allen/Jackson, makes them draft Daniel Jones in '19 after Kyler goes No. 1, makes them pass on the 2020 class with Burrow/Herbert/Tua. Re-sign Jones, bad, can't trade up for Daniels/Maye in '24.
Now they're here.

Barkley made sense at the time with Manning, DJ was a better pick than Haskins in the draft.
I don't see much light at the end of the tunnel.
Lamar wasn't some guarantee.
And as a Bills fan, in the moment, people were not even sure we got the best Josh in the draft. ROSEN went at 10, could have easily been a Giant. And then you wouldn't have had Saquon.
10th Circle of QB Hell.

At this point, I'm auctioning off Carter/Hunter, collecting picks, and taking Dart or Shough a bit later in the 1st.
Or, whatevs...just keep wasting high draft picks on 3rd rounders that have to play behind swiss cheese.
