what is the best relatively new (let's say from the last 3-4 years) you recently watched on a streaming service?

Not movie, but if you watch anime THE APOTHECARY'S DAUGHTER is a delight

Inside (2023) with Willem Dafoe was a pleasant surprise from all the recent dreck

Past Lives was wonderful.

I NEED to see this and didn't realize it was streaming! huzzah!

Not sure if May December counts but that was great. Prey was good. Do Revenge on Netflix was silly but I enjoyed it

it counts! I forgot that one's on streaming and I do want to see it (the parts of Prey I could watch without hiding my eyes were great, lol)

The Personal History of David Copperfield (2019) is really good. Ianucci directing Dev Patel in a dickens adaptation. It’s on prime.

All that AND Peter Capaldi!

The cast is absurd. Hugh Laurie, Tilda Swinton, Gwendolyn Christie, and a dozen British actors from a hundred BBC shows!

A haunting of Venice, Prey was maybe my fav of 2023, Meg 2, everything everywhere all at once, all quiet on the western front, enola holmes.

are you serious about MEG 2 I cannot tell (I mean I'm speaking as someone who would absolutely watch the Beekeeper, no judgment here)

Meg 2 was very entertaining.

I liked both Meg movies a lot, but I’m a fan of cheesy shark movies. They were fun.
