Healing doesn't mean reverting to your previous state anyway; it means reaching a point of resuming growth with a new "normal". This holds especially true for psychological trauma, because the mind never loses an impression, it only uses it as the canvas for future ones, like a palimpsest of clay
whatever caused you to be triggered from looking at my post is not okay. maybe YOU still need to heal from that, don’t take that on me. Take that up with yourself.
The saddest part is when you you felt like that happened 20 years ago and you forgave people and moved on and then you realize people have been holding the effects against you in little ways for decades.
