Could you explain to me why Chik Fil A still has this reputation?
From my understanding, they have long-since stopped donating to anti-LGBTQ+ organizations and actively enforce DEI policy. Shouldn't we REWARD such policy changes when they happen? Otherwise, wouldn't pushing for change be pointless?
DEI policies are used by businesses/corps as "proof" to their goodness when actual cases of discrimination are brought up because internally the culture doesn't actually change
If there's info missing im all ears but it does seem like the same bussiness with a new coat of paint
I will say that I don't mind the Christian focus; Christianity isn't inherently anti-LGBT, despite what many modern "Christians" might do/say. Christianity is SUPPOSED to promote generosity and pacifism (leaving me very perplexed about how people who claim to be Christian can be so openly hateful)=>
But I didn't actually know about Dan's NCF donation in '21 due to his separation from the company. Normally, I'd only care about new CEO Andrew's actions, but it seems he hasn't spoken out AGAINST it despite the headlines, so he may as well be supporting it. So I have my reason regardless. Thanks!

The new CEO is the son of the previous CEO and the bussiness is still heavy branded as christian so...
DEI policies are good, we should want companies to do that. But ->

So like you, i need them to be vocally supportive of lgbt folk else I will just assume the average outcome... which is them funding terrible shit lol
