He is addressing it by adding MORE debt, which is why he wants the debt ceiling raised now so he can blame the Democrats for it. Bringing in Elon is a terrible idea- government is not supposed to be run like a business. We are a constitutional republic not an LLC.

you can’t be serious. He’s not even in office yet. I disagree that the government should be run differently than a business. my entire life of 60 years, the government has wasted money and not been accountable. And now we have this huge debt that we soon not gonna be able to pay the interest on

There’s a significant difference between running a government efficiently and running it like a business. A well run government provided the optimum environment for businesses to flourish, while limiting the damage from unbridled power and greed. Because assholes try to ruin good things.

Trump 'truthed' that he wants the Democrats to pass a spending bill with no debt limit so that it will happen under Bidens watch. Why would he want the debt limit eliminated if he is going to reduce debt? Read what your Dear Leader said, put your thinking cap on, and then go into full denial mode.
