Agreed. Learning the law is a patchwork of confusing, conflicting, poorly worded statutes and a mountain of Ouija-board cases can only lead to the conclusion that it is a method of protecting money and established power.

Representing two groups we should admire a lot more-librarians and public defenders. My own heroes include my aunt, Ann T. Curran, who worked for the Boston Public Library and freelanced, helped organize the library at Rutgers University School of Medicine, and D A Larry Krasner.
