Under first past the post Reform can take over the UK with around 34% of the votes just as Labour did. Under PR they will never take over our country because a majority is firmly pposed to everything they stand for and wants to keep the NHS

Let’s hope Labour learn the right lesson from local results like these. Reintroduce some PR for Mayoral elections; stop chasing Reform votes above all else. it won’t work and you’ll lose even more votes to the Greens.

If Starmer had 1/2 a brain he'd be legislating against foreign money today!
Start with replacing the House of Lords with something befitting of a democracy. Maybe have one house representative of the PR vote and the other representative of constituencies. As it stands, it's not fit for purpose.
As a Scot I've seen how D'Hondt works in Holyrood & for all its faults it's infinitely superior.
I'm also a fan of compulsorary voting....I like the idea that democracy comes with at least some responsibilities
