I've come up with 3 rules I use to avoid a lot of nonsense online.
Avoid content if:
1) The thumbnail contains obvious AI usage.
2) Thumbnail uses shocked/exaggerated facial expressions.
3) If headline/title includes words in ALL CAPS.

Has quietened my timeline to sensible stuff nicely.
