Not really hindsight. As soon as Garland was appointed I found out that he was a supporter of the Federalist Society, and 90% of Trump's appointees to the appellate courts are members. Garland was a stupid choice.
When we saw that Garland wasn't prosecuting Trump in 2021, he should have been fired.
