Reading between the lines, I think if Kelleher was stinking out the place, Ali would be back in now. But because there's no need to rush, Slot is leaving it as it is. #lfc
Ali is the best keeper in the world... when available. But Caoimhín has basically played as many games as Ali over the past 2 seasons and has been almost faultless. Such a shame.
It is a shame. Ideally in a selfish world, Kelleher would stay long term. But he’s 26, proven he can play at the highest level and wants regular first team Football. Can’t blame him whatsoever for the service he’s given us.
He wants to be a number 1. Unless Ali is off in the summer there's no chance he's signing a new deal cos we've shown we won't sell him for what people are willing to pay so his only way out is hope for a sale this summer at reduced prices due to his short contract wait another year and go for free.
Well from his point of view there's no guarantee of that. If we hadn't signed the Georgian lad I'd be thinking the same but I can see why he isn't. I'm Irish so I hope for Ireland's sake he goes to a CL club and plays every week. He's clearly good enough.
I think he’s made his mind up he’s leaving at the end of the season. He wants to be number one and it’s possible Alisson will still be around for a couple of seasons. Plus the new keeper for Valencia will join next season.

LFC: Will you sign a new contract, Caoimhín?
CK: Will I be first choice next season?
LFC: No.
CK: Okay then. No.
Selling Ali is the only way Caoimhín stays, IMHO.
