Border Patrol, not ICE, was at Dodger Stadium. A distinction without a difference for most of us, to be sure. They were there because rounded up victims needed to be bundled to one transport van. The plan was to do that on Sunset, but it was getting spicy there. So they went to the empty lot.
If there is anything I’ve observed from this catastrophe, besides the fact that ICE is staffed with vicious racists, is that our immigration system is fundamentally broken. How many of these people are hard working, contributing members of their communities, but they couldn’t gain citizenship? Nuts
So ICE was using Dodgers Stadium as a staging area, presumably with permission, then when protesters showed up, ICE called the police to rescue them and then the Dodgers rescind their permission and donate a small fraction of their proceeds from immigrants to help immigrants, whose land they stole?
If they completed their transfer why didn't they leave instead of standing around for an hour glaring at protestors? Did it take that long to get a police escort away from the area?
I saw a news report that said a lawyer and friends came to his aid with citizenship documents. Maybe they didn't get there until morning, maybe ICE decided to make him wait all night anyway.

All we want is for it to STOP!
ICE said they weren’t at the stadium.
What the hell is happening.
But it wasn’t in any of the reports I heard yesterday
And, of course, still intolerable
1. Who has burden of proof?
Is it innocent until proven guilty or guilty until proven innocent?
2. Legally, what is supposed to happen in the meantime, either way?
