Stop using these apps entirely, people. Get a notebook and a pen and go analog. I'm serious

The ovulation tracking app, "Ovia", now mandates you identify what state you live in. Delete immediately and warn anyone who might need to know.

But for anybody who actually needs these apps, they're nothing but a legal minefield which could kill you.
I have irregular periods. I also use it to track my migraines and other issues.
It still has value to me.
Happened ?
I'm scared for them and really at a loss for what to do besides stock up on plan B and anything else I can lay hands on.
Frankly, it seems like they don't care.
I missed the sweet spot of being a girl boss, and I suspect it's the same with many women.
F the patriarchy.
(I think we're allocated 20 minutes or so during the spring of our 45th year, but unfortunately, it often falls during the hour we lose to Daylight Savings)
Being stealth is an amazing superpower. It's just a strange one to learn to navigate when no one has prepared you for it. As I learn my way around it, I've been sharing the progress with my daughter so it doesn't broadside her the way it did me.
The one upside is the sisterhood of the invisible. It's awesome to find a whole legion of us who are ready to use our power for good.

We did manage to live just fine before all these apps.
They cost $1.25, but still worth it.
Personal property.
Drop is one of these.
A seized device is a potential problem with anything storing data, but that's true of a physical notebook, too.
1) User data not linked to ph#/email, & stored on your device ONLY, including your PIN
2) Regular data wipe you schedule
3) Emergency data wipe = PIN & 3 taps
4) Needs no internet outside download & update
I can't remember to use my phone for tracking but placing things that I need to "trip over" is my best strategy.
I also love writing on my bathroom mirror in dry erase. Tracks my weight journey.
This isn't an accusation but maybe a TMI a stranger does need to know, and you can say "no": How can you grip period products to use properly but not a marker?
Obviously the concern is data regarding abortion, right?
Why wouldn't an app user be able to just continue using their app, and then if their health, uh, changes unexpectedly, just continue adding data according to their usual pattern, to cover up any suspicious gaps?
(Though tbf i now use an app out of the UK (Balance) which tracks menopause symptoms)

Literally all you need is a calendar (or a pad) & a pen
its easy esp given the ramifications of using apps. Most tech co’s WILL COMPLY w police or court orders for your data, so protect yourself from the get go
Right? 🤣🙂
I'm tracking my "cycle".
