Wrong. Overall welfare spending is similar now to what it has been since the 1980s. Health-related benefit spending has risen, but arguably as a consequence of general benefit spending falling. This is a choice
And recent experience suggests that disability benefits reform rarely achieves savings projected at the time of implementation
Wrong. There is no evidence that people are claiming benefits they are not entitled to. We see many thousands of people each year who struggle to claim and maintain eligibility for what they are entitled to

Health & Disability benefits equate to 1% of the total, which is in the region of a rounding error
